Menthol prices fell up to Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today owing to reduced offtake by consuming units.
Increased arrivals from producing belts in Uttar Pradesh also put pressure on the prices.
Menthol bold crystal, flake and mentha oil prices fell up to Rs 10 to settle at Rs 1,320, Rs 1,290 and Rs 1,240 per kg respectively.
Marketmen said reduced offtake by consuming units against increased arrivals from producing belts, mainly put pressure on the menthol prices.
