Menthol prices drifted by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today due to reduced offtake by consuming units amid adequate stocks.
Increased arrivals from the producing belts in Uttar Pradesh markets also weighed on the menthol prices.
Menthol bold crystal, flake and mentha oil prices fell by Rs 5 to Rs 965, Rs 945 and Rs 890 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said reduced offtake by consuming units and weak trend in producing belts also put some pressure on the menthol prices.
