MIC Electronics shines on budget proposal

MIC Electronics closed at Rs 783.05, with gains of over 7 per cent, after the Railway Budget's proposed to install estimated time of arrival (ETA) display units in long-distance trains. The company is one of the leading manufacturer of display screens in the country.
 
ETAs are used for transport systems to generate estimated times of arrival based on timetable or measurements on traffic intensity. The stock is trading below its 52 week high of Rs 1087.80 hit on 27 December 2007. The total volumes traded were significantly high at 15,655 shares as against the two week average of 3631 shares.
