Shares of Mindtree, a leading digital transformation and services company, have soared 4.16% to Rs 1,474.50 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) in the early morning trades after the company announced that it was selected by Molnlycke Healthcare to effectively manage its business operations using SAP application suite.
Mindtree will help enhance Molnlycke Healthcare, a leading provider of single-use surgical and wound care solutions, deliver in a cost effective manner globally, using a single service management platform.
In a filing to the BSE, Mindtree confirmed that the program will spread across 32 countries and 7,500 employees of Molnlycke, thus creating a strong and uniform IT governance structure.
The stock opened at Rs 1,424 and touched a high of Rs 1,488 on the BSE. At 9:40 AM, a combined total of 87,304 shares changed hands on the counter of BSE and NSE.
