MindTree slips on drop in Q4 net

The company's fourth quarter net profit fell 8.6% to Rs 129 crore on account of forex losses.

MindTree has weakened by 3.97% to Rs 1336 on the BSE after its fourth quarter net profit fell 8.6% to Rs 129 crore on account of forex losses. The shares had opened at the intra-day high of Rs 1380 and have touched a low of Rs 1320 thus far.

Revenues were, however, in line during the quarter. Rupee revenue grew 0.7% to Rs 918 crore and dollar revenue rose to $147.8 million from $147.7 million on sequential basis.

MindTree said that the board of directors of the company, at its meeting held on 16 April 2015, recommended a final dividend of Rs 10 a share for the year ended 31 March 2015. The cumulative dividend declared by the board of directors for the year ended 31 March 2015 thus aggregates to Rs 17 a share.
