The Indian ADRs saw a mixed day of trades as US stocks drifted sideways in what is likely a temporary pause in a sell-off brought on by growing fears of another economic downturn.
Of the 12 scrips listed, seven closed in the green. The major gainers for the day were IT scrip Satyam Computer Service which saw a 2% gain to close nearly at $4 followed by ICICI Bank and MTNL which added 1-1.5%
On the other hand, the top losers were the Tata pack consisting of Tata Communications and Tata Motors losing 1.2% each. Wipro and Sterlite were the other scrips which lost 1% .
