Public sector metals trading firm MMTC is planning to introduce “Make your own jewellery” concept at its week-long “Festival of Gold” in Mumbai. The flagship show of the company is being organised in the city from December 20 to 26.
It will offer consumers the option of selecting gold, diamond or any other precious stone for making jewellery. They will also have a range of designs to select from.
MMTC will guarantee the delivery of jewellery item within three days, depending on the size and complexity of chosen designs. Though the company didn’t give sales target, it is hopeful of a good response during the exhibition. “Customers will appreciate this unique concept,” said Rajendra Prashad, general manager (jewellery procurement) of MMTC.
The show would also offer innovative designs procured from Mumbai-based jewellers, said Prashad.
The event will showcase over one lakh pieces of exquisite jewellery designs manufactured by local jewellers.
