Moderate rise in nickel and copper prices

Nickel and copper scrap heavy prices recovered moderately at the non-ferrous metal market here today on fresh demand from industrial users coupled with higher advices from London metal exchange (LME).

Meanwhile, zinc and lead prices eased on lack of industrial support. Nickel moved up by Rs 3 to Rs 1,120 per kilo. Copper scrap heavy also inched up by a rupee to Rs 359 per kilo.

Zinc and lead softened by a rupee each to Rs 117 and Rs 106 per kilo respectively.
