Moong, its dal rise on retailers' demand

In restricted activity, moong and its dal prices rose up to Rs 200 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today on rising demand from retailers for the ongoing festivals amid limited arrivals. 

Market analysts said rising demand from retailers against restricted arrivals mainly led to rise in moong and its dal prices.

In the national capital, moong and its dal chilka local rose by Rs 50 and Rs 100 to Rs 4,000-5,000 and Rs 5,070-5,470 per quintal respectively.

Moong dal dhoya local and best quality were enquired higher by Rs 100 and Rs 200 to Rs 5,400-5,500 and Rs 6,100-6,300 per quintal, respectively.
