Moong and moong dal prices weakened by Rs 20 per quintal in the the wholesale pulses market today owing to slack demand at prevailing levels amid sufficient stocks.
Elsewhere, other commodities continued to trade in a narrow range on alternate bouts of trading and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said fall in demand at prevailing levels mainly led to a fall in moong and its dal prices. Moong and its dal chilka local lost Rs 20 each to Rs 4,450-4,850 and Rs 5,250-5,650 per quintal.
