<b>MUMBAI DAY AFTER: Sensex slips into red</b>

The Sensex opened nine points lower at 10,605. The index touched a low of 10,566, and soon rebounded into the positive zone. The index touched a high of 10,708, and is now up 66 points at 10,680.

Technology stocks are witnessing aggressive buying backed by better than expected Q1 Infosys numbers.

Infosys has surged nearly 6% to Rs 3,336. TCS has rallied 3.3% to Rs 1,827. Satyam has advanced 2.6% to Rs 738, and Wipro is up 1.7% at Rs 504.

Tata Steel, Gujarat Ambuja, Cipla, NTPC and HDFC are down over 1% each at Rs 508, Rs 105, Rs 218, Rs 116 and Rs 1,188, respectively.
