<b>MUMBAI DAY AFTER: SENSEX UP 174pts </b>

The Sensex is now up 174 points at 10,788.

Infosys has soared nearly 7% to Rs 3,368. TCS has surged 5.5% to Rs 1,865. While Wipro has gained 3% at Rs 511, Satyam has advanced 2.6% to Rs 738.

Larsen & Toubro and Hindalco have rallied 3.5% each to Rs 2,246 and Rs 174, respectively.

Reliance is up nearly 3% at Rs 1,079.

Reliance Energy, Bajaj Auto and HDFC Bank have declined 1.5% each to Rs 447, Rs 2,726 and Rs 750, respectively.

Out of 2,251 stocks traded so far, 1,231 have declined, 946 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
