<b>MUMBAI DAY AFTER: SENSEX UP 185pts </b>

The Sensex is now up 185 points at 10,799.

Infosys has soared nearly 7% to Rs 3,366. TCS has surged over 5% to Rs 1,864. While Wipro has gained over 3% at Rs 511, Satyam has spurted 2.8% to Rs 739.

Larsen & Toubro has rallied 3.5% to Rs 2,245. Reliance is up 2.7% at Rs 1,077.

Hindalco and Gujarat Ambuja are up 2.5% each at Rs 172 and Rs 108, respectively. ITC has advanced 2% to Rs 179.

Reliance Energy has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 445. Bajaj Auto and HDFC Bank have declined around 1.5% each to Rs 2,726 and Rs 751, respectively.

Out of 2,222 stocks traded so far, 1,213 have declined, 929 have advanced and 80 are unchanged.
