<b>MUMBAI DAY AFTER: SENSEX UP 218pts </b>

The Sensex is now up 218 points at 10,832.

Infosys has soared nearly 7% to Rs 3,367. TCS has surged 5.5% to Rs 1,865. Wipro and Satyam have gained around 3% each at Rs 511 and Rs 739, respectively.

Hindalco has gained 5.5% at Rs 177. Larsen & Toubro has moved up 3.5% to Rs 2,246.

Reliance is up 3.5% at Rs 1,085. ITC and Gujarat Ambuja are up 2.5% each at Rs 180 and Rs 108, respectively.

Out of 2,276 stocks traded so far, 1,216 have declined, 984 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
