<b>MUMBAI DAY AFTER: SENSEX UP 231pts </b>

The Sensex is now up 231 points at 10,845.

Infosys has soared nearly 7% to Rs 3,366. TCS has surged 6% to Rs 1,875. Wipro has rallied 3.5% to Rs 513, and Satyam has added 3% to Rs 740.

Hindalco has gained 5.5% at Rs 177. Larsen & Toubro and Reliance have moved up 4% each to Rs 2,253 and Rs 1,090, respectively.

Out of 2,300 stocks traded so far, 1,196 have declined, 1,028 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
