Mustard oil prices rose by Rs 30 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market today due to a rise in local demand.
Elsewhere, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range on alternate bouts of trading and settled around previous levels. Traders said scattered demand from local parties helped mustard oil prices to trade higher.
In the national capital, mustard expeller oil (Dadri) gained Rs 30 to Rs 5,700 per quintal.
