Nasdaq gains 11pts; ADRs mixed

The US indices ended on a mixed note amid rising oil prices. While the Dow Jones industrial average was down 14 points at 13,542, the Nasdaq moved up 11 points to 2579.

Indian ADRs, too, ended on a mixed note. HDFC Bank rallied 5% to $81.95. Patni Computers soared 4% to $26.85. VSNL added 1.5% to $22.50.

On the other hand, Tata Motors shed 2.6% to $17.81. Wipro dropped 1.3% to $16.45, and Infosys was down nearly 1% at $49.99.

The US crude oil futures ended over $66-mark on uncertainty about supplies from Nigeria.
