Natco rises on tie-up with Lupin

Shares of Natco Pharma surged 14.8 per cent to Rs 59.35 after the company’s announcement of a collaboration with Lupin to commercialise generic equivalents of Lanthanum Carbonate tablets.

These tablets are now sold as Fosrenol brand, with a global sales of $100 million. The stock made an intraday high of Rs 61.45 and a low of Rs 51.4 with trading volumes of 35,939 shares.
