As markets wilted due to global worries in the last five trading sessions starting April 30, Smart Portfolios, too, saw a drop in networth across the board. The Smart Portfolios benchmark S&P CNX 500 index's portfolio value fell by almost two per cent to Rs 11.08 lakh from Rs 11.30 lakh. However, the benchmark's net worth remains nearly 13 per cent higher, when compared to the start of Smart Portfolios on September 1, 2009 with an initial corpus of Rs 10 lakh.
