<b>New High:</b> Sensex up 402pts; L&amp;T soars 7%

The Sensex touched a fresh all-time intra-day high of 19,249, and is now up 402 points at 19,173.

Larsen & Toubro has zoomed 6.5% to Rs 3,681. SBI has soared 5.8% to Rs 2,057.

Tata Steel has surged 3.4% to Rs 1,022. HDFC and ITC have rallied 3% each to Rs 2,602 and Rs 188, respectively.

Hindalco, Satyam, Reliance Communications and Reliance Energy have advanced 2.5% each to Rs 197, Rs 472, Rs 769 and Rs 1,690, respectively.

ACC, TCS, ONGC, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors and Grasim have gained around 2% each at Rs 1,068, Rs 1,073, Rs 1,138, Rs 788, Rs 808 and Rs 3,774, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever has slipped 1.3% to Rs 218.
