Amid profit-bookings by speculators and weak global trend, nickel prices softened by 0.41% to Rs 834.20 per kg in futures market today.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the June contract declined by Rs 3.40, or 0.41% to Rs 834.20 per kg in 844 lots.

The May contract traded lower by Rs 3, or 0.36% to Rs 827.40 per kg in 5,228 lots.
