Nickel weakens 0.9% on spot demand

Weak overseas market trends kept pressure on nickel futures trade here

Nickel futures for February traded Rs 8.50, or 0.93% lower to Rs 910.10 per kg in 9,449 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the March shed Rs 8, or 0.87% to Rs 916.40 per kg in 1,865 lots.

Amid a weak global trend and subdued domestic demand

Subdued domestic demand affected the trade.

ON the London Metal Exchange (LME), nickel fell 0.3% to $16,930 a tonne.
