Nifty futures settled a marginal premium even as open interest fell by four lakh shares. September Nifty surged 2.66 per cent to close at 1334.25, while the NSE S&P CNX Nifty settled at 1328.00.
October Nifty futures rose 2.50 per cent to settle at 1336.55. Nifty futures saw a trading volume of Rs 2619.07 crore arising out of 99,847 contracts.
