Nifty up 10pts; HDFC Bank slips 4%

The NSE Nifty 10 points 4,059.

Ranbaxy has slumped 8.8% to Rs 485.

Infosys has tumbled nearly 5% to Rs 1,594, and Satyam has plunged over 4% to Rs 426. TCS has dropped over 3% to Rs 774, and Wipro has shed 2.3% at Rs 403.

HDFC Bank has dropped 3.7% to Rs 1,028. HDFC and BHEL have slipped 2.5% each to Rs 1,949 and Rs 1,484, respectively.

Hindalco has declined 2% to Rs 152. DLF is down 1.8% at Rs 445.

ONGC has surged 3.7% to Rs 881. SBI and Tata Motors have rallied over 2.5% each to Rs 1,253 and Rs 410, respectively.

 

NTPC and Tata Steel have gained 2% each at Rs 165 and Rs 680, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever and Larsen & Toubro are up 1.7% each at Rs 218 and Rs 2,396, respectively.

Out of 2,123 stocks traded so far, 1,230 have declined, 830 have advanced and 63 are unchanged.
