ICICI Bank has zoomed 10.5% to Rs 609. HDFC has soared almost 10% to Rs 2,076, and HDFC Bank has surged 7.5% to Rs 1,030. SBI has rallied over 5% to Rs 1,290.
DLF and Reliance Infrastrucutre have rallied 5.8% each to Rs 452 and Rs 854, respectively.
Bharti Airtel and BHEL have advanced over 5% each to Rs 788 and Rs 1,528, respectively.
ITC has gained 4.7% at Rs 175, and Reliance Communicaitons has added 4.3% to Rs 436.
Reliance, NTPC and Jaiprakash Associates have moved up 3.5% each to Rs 2,089, Rs 171 and Rs 154, respectively.
ONGC and Cipla are up over 3% each at Rs 933 and Rs 218, respectively.
Satyam has slumped 7% to Rs 385. Wipro has plunged 4.7% to Rs 362. Infosys has dropped 2.5% to Rs 1,542.
Ranbaxy has shed 2.7% at Rs 440. Tata Steel has slipped 1.5% to Rs 598.
Out of 2,532 stocks traded so far, 1,527 have advanced, 919 have declined and 86 are unchanged.
