India's premier bourse National Stock Exchange (NSE) is launching an advertisement-based investor awareness campaign on select routes of the Rajdhani Express.

"We have tied up with the railways for spreading investor awareness through long-distance Rajdhani Express trains," a NSE spokesperson told PTI here.

The exteriors of the Rajdhani coaches will be splashed with advertisements focusing on investor-related issues and products.

Initially, the branding-cum-investor awareness campaign will begin on Rajdhani trains running from New Delhi to Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram and Bangalore. Later, it would cover other Tier I, Tier II and Tier III cities, he said.

The campaign, which will begin within a fortnight, will try to educate investors about the dos and don'ts of investment, guidelines on power of attorney, the NSE, the Nifty index and also other NSE products, he said.

It is a small effort by the NSE towards investor education and protection, the spokesperson said.

The NSE has already started advertising several products through the suburban trains in Mumbai, he said.
