The National Stock Exchange (NSE) today named public sector major Coal India (CIL) as the company, among the firms whose shares are trading on the bourse, with highest number of pending investor complaints

CIL is followed by two other PSU majors -- Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) and MOIL -- who have pending complaints against them for more than two months as on April 30, the NSE said in a statement.

While CIL had nearly 45 complaints pending against it for over two months as on April 30, PGCIL and Moil had 28 and seven such complaints, respectively.

The NSE did not specify what were the complaints against these companies.

CIL raised about Rs 15,200 crore in the country's biggest ever public sector IPO last fiscal, while PGCIL and MOIL also came out with public offers.

Among those companies whose shares are suspended or withdrawn from trading on the NSE, Vatsa Corp leads the chart, with 76 complaints pending for more than two months.

In this category, Vatsa is followed by Soundcraft Industries (27 complaints), Pal Peugeot (11), Enkay Texofood Industries (six), Arihant Industries (five), Patheja Forgings & Auto Parts Manufacturers (four), Eider Infotech (three), Cauvery Software Engineering Systems (two), Lan Eseda Industries (two) and Scintilla Software Technology (two).

The NSE releases these lists of 'corporates with highest number of complaints pending' every month.

In the last month's list, released on April 4, there was no company whose shares are traded on the NSE.
