NSE ties up with Nagaland education board

The curriculum will cover importance of savings, elementary knowledge about banking system, basics of financial planning, money management and setting financial goals, NSE said

The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) has tied up with Nagaland Board of Secondary Education (NBSE) for launching financial literacy course for the students.

"More than 60 schools under NBSE have registered with the board to make the course compulsory for all students of class IX. As of now, 5150 students have registered for the course already," the exchange said in a release.

The curriculum will cover importance of savings, elementary knowledge about banking system, basics of financial planning, money management and setting financial goals, NSE said.
