October Nifty futures ends lower

 fell 6.70 points to settle at 1504 while the NSE S&P CNX Nifty closed at 1,494.10. Open interest in October series fell by 29,400 shares. Meanwhile, November Nifty series shed 7.35 points to close at 1507. Open interest surged by 126,400 shares.
