OnMobile Global has soared 12% to Rs 34.7, after the company informed that HDFC Mutual Fund has bought more than 1% stake in the company through an open market transaction.
“HDFC Mutual Fund A/C Growth Fund bought 1.73 million shares representing 1.5% stake of the company at Rs 30.97 on the National Stock Exchange on July 3, through bulk deal,” OnMobile Global said in a filing.
On July 2, Goldman Sachs Investments Mauritius had bought 1.2 million shares, while HDFC Mutual Fund A/C Growth Fund had purchased 0.7 million shares at an average price of Rs 29.60 per share through bulk deals on the NSE.
Meanwhile, Kotak Mahindra Prime in a regulatory filing said that it has sold 3.5 million shares or 3.03% stake of the Bangalore-based telecom value added services (VAS) company.
The stock opened at Rs 31.70 and hit a high of Rs 34.80 on the NSE. As many as a combined 19.66 million shares have already changed hands on the counter so far, against an average around 10.7 million shares that were traded daily in past two weeks.
