Investors lapped up stocks of ACC today on rumours that an open offer was likely to take place in the cement company. The scrip closed 4 per cent higher at Rs 140.55.
Around 4.75 lakh shares of the company were traded on the BSE today. ACC stocks have now risen 10.4 per cent from Rs 126.70 on April 28, 2003.
