Palmolein oil prices rose by Rs 30 per quintal in the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on pick-up in retailers demand amid higher Malaysian advices.
Prices of other edible and non-edible oils continued to trade at previous levels in the absence of worthwhile activity.
Traders said apart from pick-up in retailers demand, firming trend in Malaysian mainly pushed up wholesale polmolein oil prices.
In the national capital, palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (kandla) oils gained Rs 30 each to Rs 5,680 and Rs 5,380 per quintal, respectively.
