In restricted activity, peas prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today on rising retailers demand against restricted arrivals.

Elsewhere, other commodities traded in a tight range in the absence of worthwhile activity, settled around previous levels.

Traders said restricted arrivals in the face of increased demand from retailers helped peas prices to move up.

Peas white and green prices rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 1,975-2,075 and Rs 2,075-2,275 per quintal, respectively.
