Peas prices edged higher by Rs 25 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on increased demand from local parties.

Elsewhere, other commodities continued to trade in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.

Market analysts said improved local demand amid fall in arrivals mainly pushed up peas prices.

In the national capital, peas white and green prices rose by Rs 25 each to Rs 2,225-2,325 and Rs 2,375-2,575 per quintal, respectively.
