Black pepper and jeera prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal each in the national capital today on the back of sluggish demand from retailers and stockists.
Black pepper fell by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 20,500- 20,600 per quintal. Jeera common and jeera best quality also traded lower at Rs 13,600-13,800 and Rs 14,800-15,300 per quintal, respectively.
The fall in pepper and jeera prices was mostly attributed to sluggish demand from retailers and stockists, traders said.
