Black pepper and jeera prices rose up to Rs 200 per quintal in the national capital today on firming domestic and exporters demand amid tight supply.
Black pepper prices rose by Rs 200 to settle at Rs 19,400-19,500 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also increased by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 12,900-13,200 and Rs 14,000-14,500 per quintal.
Traders said sentiment turned better on rising domestic and export demand.
Besides, firming trend at futures market also influenced the pepper and jeera prices, they said.
