Pistachio prices drifted up to Rs 45 per kg in the national capital today largely due to sluggish demand from retailers and stockists at existing higher levels.
Comfortable stocks following increased arrivals from overseas markets also put pressure on pistachio prices.
Pistachio (Irani and hairati) declined by Rs 10 and Rs 45 to settle at Rs 790-840 and Rs 1,000-1,150 per kg, respectively.
Traders said subdued demand from retailers and stockists against fresh arrivals, mainly pulled down pistachio prices on the wholesale dry fruit market here.
