Pistachio prices rose up to Rs 25 per kg in the national capital today largely on the back of fresh buying support from retailers and stockists.
Restricted supplies from overseas markets also supported the hike in prices. Pistachio hairati and peshwari rose up to Rs 25 to settle at Rs 1,200-1,250 and Rs 1,350-1,380 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased demand from retailers and stockists against fall in supplies from overseas markets mainly influenced pistachio prices on the wholesale dry fruit market here.
