Pistachio prices rose Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today on the back of fresh buying support from retailers and stockists and rising domestic demand, driven by marriage season.
Fall in supplies from overseas markets also supported the upside in prices.
Pistachio hairati and peshwari traded higher by Rs 10 each to settle at Rs 1,110-1,235 and Rs 1,360-1,410 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased demand from retailers and stockists amid fall in supplies from overseas markets mainly pushed up pistachio prices in the wholesale dry fruits market here.
