Pistachio prices rose by up to Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today largely on the back of fresh buying support from retailers and stockists due to domestic demand.

Restricted supplies from overseas markets also supported the upside in the prices.

Pistachio hairati and peshwari traded higher by Rs 10 to Rs 1,000-1,050 and Rs 1,230-1,280 per kg, respectively.

Market analysts said increased demand from retailers and stockists against fall in supplies from overseas markets mainly pushed up pistachio prices in the wholesale dry fruit market here.
