Pistachio prices rose by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today largely on the back of fresh buying by retailers and stockists.
Fall in supplies from overseas markets also supported the rise in the prices. Pistachio hairati and peshwari rose by Rs 10 to conclude at Rs 960-1,110 and Rs 1,210-1,310 per kg, respectively.
Market analysts said fresh buying by retailers and stockists amid fall in supplies from overseas markets mainly pushed up pistachio prices on the dryfruit market here.
