<b>Policy Impact:</b> Sensex up 135pts

The Sensex is now up 135 points at 15,396.

ACC, ITC and HDFC have soared 3% each to Rs 1,055, Rs 172 and Rs 1,965, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro surged 2.5% to Rs 2,505. Ranbaxy, BHEL and Bajaj Auto have rallied 2% each to Rs 385, Rs 1,677 and Rs 2,338, respectively.

Hindalco has moved up 1.7% to Rs 169. Reliance Energy, Reliance Communications and Hindalco are up over 1% each at Rs 789, Rs 547 and Rs 484, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra has plunged 4.6% to Rs 718. Maruti has dropped 1.8% to Rs 832.

Tata Motors and Hindustan Unilever have slipped 1.3% each to Rs 698 and Rs 206, respectively. Hindustan Unilever is down over 1% to Rs 1,966.

Out of 2,540 stocks traded so far, 1,488 have advanced, 974 have declined and 78 are unchanged.
