<b>Policy Impact:</b> Sensex up 93pts; breadth +ve

The Sensex is now up 93 points at 15,354.

ACC and ITC have zoomed over 3% each to Rs 1,055 and Rs 172, respectively. HDFC has soared 2.8% to Rs 1,962.

Ranbaxy, Hindalco and BHEL have surged 2.3% each to Rs 385, Rs 170 and Rs 1,682, respectively.

Bajaj Auto and Larsen & Toubro have advanced around 2% each to Rs 2,342 and Rs 2,494, respectively. HDFC Bank has added 1.8% to Rs 1,181.

Reliance Communications and Ambuja Cements have rallied 1.5% each to Rs 549 and Rs 131, respectively. Satyam is up 1% at Rs 484.

Mahindra & Mahindra tumbled 3.5% to Rs 726. Maruti has shed 1.7% to Rs 833, and Tata Motors has dropped 1.5% to Rs 697.

Hindustan Unilever is down 1% at Rs 207.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,531 stocks traded so far, 1,487 have advanced, 973 have declined and 71 are unchanged.
