Potato down 1.5% on increased arrivals

Prices fell as traders reduced their positions

Potato futures for April fell by Rs 15.10, or 1.51%, to Rs 1,015 per quintal in 11 lots.     

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the May contract traded lower by Rs 5.70, or 0.55%, to Rs 1,026 per quintal in 86 lots.

Prices fell as traders reduced their positions amid adequate stocks in the physical market on increased arrivals.
