Markets are likely to mirror cues from global peers and open in the green this morning. Among the major companies to announce their results today are Reliance Communication, Sun TV, Zee Entertainment and JSW Energy.
U.S. stocks gained ground Tuesday, with the Dow and S&P 500 closing at fresh five-year highs amid mostly strong earnings reports. Dow added 0.45% to 13712, while Nasdaq and S&P moved up in trades.
In Asia, Bank of Japan held a two-day meeting on interest rates in Japan, following which the Nikkei has slipped0.85 TO 10,624. Shanghai Composite is also trading weak. At 700 hrs IST the SGX Nifty was up 17 points at 6,073.
In individual stocks, watch out for DLF. The country’s largest real estate company, is aiming at a significant pickup in launches during 2013-14. While the thrust will be on pan-India residential projects, office and retail launches, too, will add up to make for the realtor’s project mix of 12 to 16 million sq ft during the coming year.

Dish TV India, has posted a net loss of Rs 45 crore for the third quarter ended December 31. In the second quarter of FY13, it had posted a net profit of Rs 55 crore. In the corresponding quarter last fiscal, it had posted a net loss of Rs 43 crore.
