Prices of gram dal, maida move up

The prices of gram dal, maida went up, while remaining commodities ruled steady during the week under review, in the wholesale foodgrain market here.   

Gram dal price opened the week at Rs 3,000 and traded at the same level up till yesterday. It gained Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 3,050 today.

Maida (90 kg) rose by Rs 50 to Rs 1,750 from last week's closing rate of Rs 1,700.

Toor dal (Rs 6,800), urad dal (Rs 6,000), moong dal (Rs 6,800), sugar (Rs 2,850), wheat (Rs 1,900), and sooji (Rs 1,950) were traded at their previous week's prices.
