Prices of moong dal, urad dal and maida declined while rest all other commodities remained unchanged in the wholesale foodgrains market here during the week under review.
Moong dal opened the week at its previous close of Rs 6,900 per quintal and declined to Rs 6,500 on Wednesday.
It further went down and closed the week at Rs 6,400, a slump of Rs 500.
Urad dal opened weak at Rs 7,500 against its previous rate of Rs 7,600 and declined to Rs 7,200 per quintal, netting a loss of Rs 400.
Maida (90 kgs) went down by Rs.50 to Rs 1,700.
Prices of Thoor dal (Rs 6,200), gram dal (Rs 2,800), sugar (Rs 2,700) wheat (Rs 1,750) and sooji (90 kgs) (Rs 1,900) remained unchanged from their previous week closing rate.
