Prices of most commodities decline

Prices of thoor dal, urad dal, moong dal, gram dal and sugar declined, while that of other commodities remained unchanged in the wholesale foodgrain market here during the week under review.

Toor dal moved down by Rs 200 to Rs 6,800 on Monday from its previous rate of Rs 7,000 and ended at the rate of Rs 6,800 today.

Urad dal, moong dal and gram dal went down by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 6,000, Rs 6,900 and Rs 3,000 from last week's closing rate of Rs 6,100, Rs 7,000 and Rs 3,100, respectively.

Wheat, maida and sooji prices ruled steady.
