Prices remain steady in thin trade

The wholesale steel and iron market ended on a steady today, as most of steel products traded in a narrow range on subdued demand and ongoing rainy season and settled around previous levels.

Arrivals and offtake remained at a low ebb and volume of business remained restricted.

Marketmen said subdued demand due to rainy season kept tight movements in steel prices.
