Project To Shift Farmers To Herbs

Pugmark SOS, a non-government organisation, has drawn up a plan to train farmers to shift to alternative crop patterns such as medicinal herbs other than staple foodgrains.

The project would be started on a trial basis in Uttaranchal and then expanded to other parts of the country, a Pugmark official said.
